Corey Thomas Cook is a second-generation gold and silver smith. His parents were both jewelers, and he was raised in their shop in Laramie, Wyoming, where he began developing jewelry skills at twelve years of age. He has studied metal technique extensively across the United States. His current work draws influence from Western and Navajo jewelry forms, Japanese techniques and aesthetic, and modern blacksmithing methods.
